Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you use ZASS AI on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that company to these Terms.

Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep it current.
• Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Accounts are personal. Sharing credentials or reselling access is not permitted.
• Tell us immediately at security@zassai.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Subscriptions and billing

ZASS AI offers a Free plan and paid plans billed through Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Full details, including upgrades, downgrades, failed payments and taxes, are in the Subscription Terms and the Refund Policy.

Termination and cancellation

You may cancel at any time from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines, that is used unlawfully, or that creates risk for other users. Where practical we give notice first.

Intellectual property

ZASS AI, its software, design, name and logo are owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape or resell any part of it.

Your content and AI output

• You keep ownership of everything you upload or write. You grant us the licence needed to store it, display it back to you and process it to deliver the service.
• You are responsible for having the right to upload each document.
• Subject to these Terms you may use AI output generated for your account, including in your own planning documents.
• AI output is generated from statistical models. It may be inaccurate or out of date and is not professional advice — see the AI Disclaimer.

Service availability

We work to keep ZASS AI available and fast, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Maintenance, provider outages, model downtime or events beyond our control may interrupt access, and features may change or be retired over time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZASS AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, construction cost overruns, permit denials, contractor performance or property decisions made using the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Independent professionals and contractors

Any contractor, lender, agent or other professional referenced, listed or introduced through ZASS AI — now or in a future marketplace — is an independent third party. We do not employ, supervise or guarantee them. You hire them directly, and ZASS AI is not liable for their workmanship, pricing, licensing, insurance, timelines or conduct.

Dispute resolution and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, contact legal@zassai.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, and each party waives any right to a class action.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes are announced by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use ZASS AI after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
